Dr. Cosette Terry-itewaste serves the Quinault Indian Nation and its members as the Language Developer/Lead Teacher. She is a wife, mother and grandmother who enjoys spending time with family. She attained her PhD in Linguistics at the University of Arizona where she focused upon Quinualt language revitalization. Cosette spent many years teaching in Native communities in Minnesota, Arizona and Washington. Her inspiration to teach derived from her very large extended family and their commitment to serve the Quinault community.
