Jonathan was born in Idaho and attended school in Oregon, but has otherwise spent his life in Southwest Washington. In 2013, he graduated from George Fox University with a B.A. in biology with an emphasis in writing, and since his return to the Chehalis area he's spent his time trying his hand at varied forms of agriculture. He's worked locally with vegetables, fish, sheep and cheese; sheep are his favorite, but cheese is a lot more well-behaved. He really enjoys working to understand how people can do right by their place and by one another, and plans to work toward a part-time "real job" doing so--at least enough to justify a part-time farm. Sometimes he more-or-less plays the banjo.
